I decided to give cake pops another try after I had stumbled upon these tips from SugarKissed.net. After chilling the cake balls, I quickly shaped them into hearts. I formed them into egg shapes, made a notch in the round end with a butter knife and then shaped and flattened them. I popped them back into the fridge while I melted the candy chips.
