Make This: Heart-shaped Mints

As I was cleaning up my bookmarks, I found this recipe for mints from MomOnTimeout.com that I had been meaning to try. I figured it would be fun to make them into hearts for Valentine’s Day.

They can be a bit sticky but extra powdered sugar on the cutting mat and cookie cutter helped. And you can brush off the excess after they dry.

I had some extra leftover so I thought I’d use it a filling for chocolates and make heart-shaped peppermint patties. I may try making these again in other flavors like lemon or orange.
